Club Sandwich
Ingredients
3 slices of bread (white or whole grain)
2 slices of cooked bacon
2 slices of turkey or chicken breast
2 slices of tomato
Lettuce leaves
1–2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
Place a lettuce leaf on the first slice of bread, add a slice of turkey, a slice of tomato, and season with salt and pepper.
Place the second slice of bread on top, spread with mayonnaise, and layer with bacon, another slice of turkey, and lettuce.
Top with the third slice of bread, mayonnaise side down. Press down gently.
Cut the sandwich diagonally into quarters and secure each section with a toothpick if desired. Serve with a side of chips or salad.
